Story

Misha was born on the 4th of April, 2011. Obstacles started to surface from the very first moments of his life. At first, doctors found festering blisters on the body of the newborn. Then, on the seventh day of his life, the boy was admitted to a regional hospital in Chelyabinsk, where he was diagnosed with primary immunodeficiency (chronic granulomatous disease, X-linked chromosome). From now on, life of Misha's family turned into a continuous series of difficulties…

At 2 months, Misha was hospitalized again, with ascites (fluid accumulation in the abdomen) this time. In just the first year of life, Misha survived ten anaesthesias, two pneumonias, and one lung abscess. The boy needs to take antibiotics and antifungals constantly and to be supervised in the RCCH (Moscow).

With the help of his family, Misha copes with all the hardships. Moreover, the baby is growing very cheerful! But a successful bone marrow transplantation is the only salvation for him. However, unfortunately, a matching donor is not yet found.

Misha needs to take Itraconazole constantly, which is not provided to him by the government.

We hope of recovery of this young, but already such a sturdy and courageous boy. And we sincerely believe that together we can help!
