Albert Gazeev

11 years old, Zelenodolsk
Diagnosis: Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (systemic-onset).
Thanks to Alexander Nikolashin (a private donor) and the “Teva” company, which organized charity action “Right on target”, life-saving drug Canakinumab 180 mg was purchased. The cost was 290,608.06 rubles.

Albert was taken to a hospital for the first time in June 2005, he was diagnosed with reactive arthritis there. In April 2008, the boy was transferred for further examination and treatment to Moscow, where the diagnosis he was given was “Juvenile rheumatoid arthritis (systemic-onset), aseptic necrosis of the femoral heads, physical retardation, complicated cataract”.

Despite all the ordeals, Albert is a very talented boy. He loves to sing and he is good at it. The kid is a fan of Valeriy Meladze, whose songs he performs with great pleasure. Besides signing, Albert loves “Lego” and TV show “Ural dumplings”. He dreams of getting to the shooting of the show.

Albert desperately needs Canakinumab, which is temporarily not available in the pharmacy of the Federal Clinical Research Center. Breaks in taking the drug are not allowed, and the boy’s family can’t afford to buy it on its own.
